This modern classic by Shania Twain is always sure to get the party started. You will hear us play this song at pretty much every wedding and it works every time. Country vibes with a rock groove makes this one a firm favourite.
9. Sex on Fire - Kings of Leon
A KOL classic which has been in our live set from our first ever gig and has never been left out since. This is definitely one of the big guns which we play towards the end of the night for maximum impact.
8. Seventeen Going Under - Sam Fender
One of the newest additions to our repertoire, this Sam Fender indie banger has been taking dance floors by storm. Already becoming a big favourite with young and old, this is one that is impossible to leave out of the set.
7. Sweet Caroline - Neil Diamond
Love it or loathe it, Sweet Caroline needs to played at weddings so we play it. It's pretty much the law. In at 7 this Neil Diamond classic is perfect for singing along, reaching out and touching hands. A floor filler for all ages.
6. Shut Up and Dance - Walk the moon
Shut Up and Dance is a big hitter and it gets the dance floor filled every time. Modern, upbeat, catchy, it just has something that people love and we enjoy playing it at weddings.
5. GBX 90’s Dance Medley
Carbon Copy’s live GBX 90’s Dance Medley has been going down a storm for many a year now. Consisting of Rhythm Is A Dancer by Snap, Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good) by Rozalla, Rhythm of the Night by Corona, You’re a Superstar by Love Inc and finishing up with Gerry Cinnamon’s version of Discoland. This is 10 minutes or so of non stop live GBX hits which will get you and your guests up on the floor and maybe even the tables as well.
4. Don’t Look Back in Anger - Oasis
When we play Don’t Look Back in Anger it’s time to give the audience a chance to sing along and people don't half sing along with this one. Everybody everywhere knows every lyric to this iconic Oasis classic.
3. Mr Brightside - The Killers
This one simply cannot be left out of the set at a wedding. Mr Brightside has now become part of gigging life for us and we bring this one out when we want to take things to the next level.
2. Proud Mary - Tina Turner
Everybody knows it, everybody loves it. Goes without saying that Proud Mary is a massive floor filler and we have been rolling with this one for many a year.
1. I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) - The Proclaimers
Weddings are all about tradition and playing 500 Miles at a wedding has become a massive tradition for Carbon Copy. We play this Scottish classic at the end of the night to get the big circle on the dance floor with the happy couple in the middle before finishing with Loch Lomond.
